YEARBOOKS
My apologies...I forgot to send these home on Friday! (After returning from Skateland we got carried away reading our novel, Runaway Twin and it was a tear-jerker moment - they didn't want me to stop!) Yearbooks will be distributed on Monday. If you did not pre-order one, there will be a limited number of books available to purchase in the office. On Wednesday, we will have a yearbook signing event. |
SUMMER READING PROGRAM
Three Rivers School has offered the incoming 5th graders a chance to participate in a program to keep their reading skills sharp! They showed us how to login and get started right away, logging minutes toward a celebration of reading in September!! Visit scholastic.com/summer to check it out. Students know how to login, but I will send this information home in the report cards for your convenience. Students who use MYON may continue to do so, while adding those minutes to this new program. |

4th grade picnic ~ Tuesday, May 23 ~ potluck
The menu will consist of hot dogs with condiments, fresh fruit, veggies and dip, chips, and dessert. Each class is asked to bring a specific item for our picnic.
Mr. Riley, a 4th grade parent and owner of Babes Hot Dogs in Joliet, is donating all the hot dogs and BUNS!! All classes will be bringing in the rest of the menu items. Since we no longer need buns, our class discussed bringing in cheese and/or crackers. However, I told my scholars that they may bring in any store bought item to share with the whole 4th grade. Any students who prefer not to eat hot dogs are welcome to bring in a sack lunch, however the cafeteria will not be open that day. Please bring 2 water bottles on the 23rd!!!
